Sunshine

[There's some set-up in the first chapters but this is, at its core, a Romitri fic.]

Several events that have occured after Vasilisa Dragomir's ascension to the throne have led her to make hard decisions. One such decision was to give away her own daughter to be raised by the only person she truly trusted - her best friend and guardian Rose Hathaway. Having only been prepared for fighting and protecting, Rose must now be a stand-in mother for the young Dragomir, while Lissa and a small circle of trusted individuals unravel the mysteries at the royal court.

Eventually, the Dragomir heir will have to attend school, and there is no question in Rose's mind as to what school that will be. With not much of an idea of what to expect, the two of them make the journey to St. Vladimir's and find the unexpected. A long-lost love, old friends, and even more mysteries to solve.
