Thousands of years have passed since the old interstellar hegemony collapsed, stranding mankind on hundreds of worlds, and now these scattered civilizations are beginning to rediscover one another.
But the galaxy is a troubled place. An expansionist Imperium seeks to rule the outlying systems with an iron fist. Those who resist, die. On a refugee ship fleeing the war, a 17-year old girl named Hera is forced to lead a group of children through a blind jump into unknown space and comes across an amazing discovery: the ruins of the long lost homeworld, Earth. There she uncovers a power that will let her and others like her fight back against their oppressors, AI-equipped warmachines with almost unlimited power known as the Angels.
Unleashing the Angels onto an unsuspecting galaxy could change the tide of the war forever, but is Hera ready to stain her hands in blood even if it means saving her people?

Repopulating Uvis
Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over? This is the same universe as Owned by them. New characters and a newer more civilized way of acquiring new females. This one is a bit more mature. I was writing this at the same time as the other. Ezra's First
Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity.
