Nothing stays the same forever, but if it did where would the fun in that be? Probably everywhere if Wukong was being honest. He liked it better when he was younger. Don't get him wrong, he loved his life in the present now. With Mk, Mk's friends that were maybe relatives of his past friends. Plus he was loved, something he hadn't had in a while. So why did he miss the past so so so much that it felt a burning sensation in his eyes each time he thought or remembered about?
Maybe it wasn't the past itself but something...
Someone.
Wukong missed that someone more than his ego cloud ever admit but he did what he had to in the past and they went separate ways. Wukong had new friends now, he didn't need that stupid warrior. . . Or maybe he did.

Lost in Chaos
Macaque sets out on a journey to find answers about his powers, and information on the Nine Headed Demon before MK and the others get hurt. Through his journey he encounters many leads, friends, and enemies. Macaque has to fight not only demons on his journey, but inner demons as well. Will Macaque become, Lost in Chaos? --- This story takes place directly after the events of season 5 in LMK. --- This story will have blood in it, as well as angst. It will dive into the pasts of Macaque and Wukong. As well as the pasts of the Nine Headed Demon. Characters from both the book and the show will appear in this, as well as some from Chinese mythology. The story has a slow progression but one you don't want to miss! This is intended as a YA Fiction. --- There is a prologue for those who haven't watched the show, or read the book, in chapter 1! the title says it all basically. idk. this has just been going around my head for a while so decided to finally sit down and write it This is a "it gets worse before it gets even worse before it's devastating before it gets kind of better" type of thing. [ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn.
