Before the Sun Sets

Brother. Captive. Spy. Rebel. Leader. This is the line that Nic DeBrookes walks after the High General of the Kheoddesea Empire, Kozak, slaughters his village in the name of the Emperor. Enslaved by the general, Nic is forced into an army camp, but is saved by the spies of the rival kingdom of Racreau and taken to the king. The king presents Nic with an offer: in exchange for his freedom, Nic must infiltrate the Kheoddesea Empire and send information on a weapon of mass destruction in hopes of preventing the next Alls-Ending War. To do this, he must enter the Inner Circle of the Emperor himself. Enter Cydiah Lihn, the Emperor's daughter and Knight Prestige-head of the Inner Circle. Nic must learn what is right and wrong in a world full of grey areas, and who to trust- before it's too late.
