Allow me to introduce you to the multiverse theory, if you are unfamiliar with it. According to this theory, whenever the universe, or whatever the driving force behind it is, has a 'decision', it 'chooses' both. A universe is created in which you wear a red shirt today, as well as one where you wear a blue shirt, as well as one where you wear no shirt and get fired. This means that there are universes where what, here, are stories, movies, and comic books, are fact. The universes form an infinite tree, with infinite choices, all leading back to the first, paradoxical choice, whether the universe exists or not. But that's a story for another time. This story takes place in a universe almost exactly like ours, but angled a little towards the comics branch. A universe where Barry Allen locked up a little early, where the Kryptonian ship was slightly off with its calculations, where Hal Jordan never got to meet Abin Sur, and where Themyscira remained undiscovered. A world devoid of superheroes. Some things remain constant, however. This story begins with one man's madness.

Nightwing froze. Peter forced himself up, walking around the vigilante. "Peter- wait-" Nightwing snapped out of his shock. He turned to Peter and almost reached for his injured arm- but the boy immediately recoiled. Dick realised his mistake, and his hand simply hovered. "Don't fucking touch me." Peter spat with pure venom. "You've done enough." --- a/n: hello, got obsessed with this fanfic idea. Basically alternate ending to No Way Home, where Peter gets thrown in the middle of Gotham instead of just everyone forgetting who he is. Mostly inspired by Leap of Faith and IQ 250 on AO3, and Wayne Family Adventures from Webtoon. Not sure how long this will go, or where the plot will go. I just have a checklist of stuff I want Peter and the Batfam to do. Dick Grayson is Richard Parker.

FULL STORY PUBLISHED. The city bleeds beneath the flicker of broken streetlights, Whispers echo through concrete veins.. Of monsters built in labs. Of kings crowned in crime, Of a darkness even the night won't claim. And above it all, two shadows move. One-a man forged in grief and fire, wearing armor and silence like scripture. The other-a boy born from rubble and ash, his fists quiet, his rage sharper than steel. The world calls them Batman and Robin. Ghosts in capes.. storms without thunder. A father and son not by blood, but by the war they wage. And as venom stains the alleys, as chaos sharpens its knives, they descend once more into the city that made them. Crime doesn't sleep, The night doesn't vanish and give people hope after the sun touches their skin. The heroes of Gotham give that hope. In darkness..and in light. I do not own the rights to the characters in this story of course but Ash Calder, Adrian Locke, Dante Creed and The Gotham Panther who shows once in the story, are original characters with my own ideas and their own backstories that I've created. This universe is not directly based on any specific Batman universe, It has hints of inspiration from other Batman works but ultimately its ideas I've thought of, even if something is in the story that's already been done, It's hard to do something new with these characters when there's so much out about them already, there's years of comic, live action, animated and fan iterations of the universe so it's genuinely hard to think of new events to put the character or characters through, That's why the absolute Batman universe has been getting so much love because of how different it is and how new it is because nobodies done anything with Batman's character or the universe like the creators of the Absolute Batman universe.Complete
Web of Fate: Spider-Man in Gotham
Peter Parker is quickly sinking lower and lower the longer he lives alone. And he really does mean "alone." No family, no friends, no allies- not even his enemies remembered him. (True, most of them were dead, but that's beside the point.) All he does nowadays is get beat up verbally at work, and physically at night swinging around as his neighborhood's trademark vigilante. He couldn't take it anymore. So he built a multi universal travel device... One that had the potential to let him see the only other people who could truly understand him. Only to make a stupid mistake and end up in a place called Gotham instead.
Justice League Femme
**Based off of the New 52/Rebirth Storylines as well as some Arrowverse characters** After a mysterious illness affect the men on Earth, most of the male superheroes grow too weak to fight crime. What to do when they can't fight? Bring in the girls. Kara Zor-El is a Kryptonian like her cousin, Superman. Following in his footsteps, she is a superhero better known as Supergirl. With her super-powered cousin out-of-commission, she is forced to fill in his shoes. If only being a superhero while in her junior year in high school was easier. By day, Barbara Gordon is a computer-science major at Gotham State University. By night, she becomes Batgirl, a vigilante who was inspired by Batman's heroism. While she was out of the spotlight for a long time, Barbara is back and ready to be Batgirl now more so than ever. With the boys of the Justice League out, Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, is prepared to go into battle and serve justice. As the three come together and recruit other healthy vigilantes and superheroes, they begin to realize that this disease is too drastic to overlook... I do not own ANY of the characters. [Batfam and The Justice League and Female OC and Damian Wayne x OC] Carmen Tetch was stolen from her life at an age far too young. It was all Talia Al Ghul's fault. And her father's. She was trained to become an informant, like her father. Except she was never brought into the field, until now. With her father dead and Talia ready to finally kill her son, Talia sends Carmen undercover to kill Damian. However plans change whenever Talia realized Carmen knows alot more than she let onto. With deceptive maneuver ninety three in place and and most of the Justice League out to get her, Carmen is questioning who she should trust. The life she never wanted, but has always known. Or something new and uncertain. Damian Wayne, as her original target and childhood bully, is trying to show her that she can surivive outside of The League of Shadows. She can be whoever she wants. The Justice League is quick to sway her to their side, but Talia doesn't want to lose a valuable pawn. And with Carmen's uncertainty, the scale could easily tip either way.Complete

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ... Because none of that matters anymore. The WhatIfUniverse is in danger, and maybe the heroes aren't enough to save it. They're gonna require assistance from another universe. Another reality: the Superfluffy1022 reality. (This is only half of the story, the Superfluffy storyline will be brought up sooner or later.
