Allow me to introduce you to the multiverse theory, if you are unfamiliar with it. According to this theory, whenever the universe, or whatever the driving force behind it is, has a 'decision', it 'chooses' both. A universe is created in which you wear a red shirt today, as well as one where you wear a blue shirt, as well as one where you wear no shirt and get fired. This means that there are universes where what, here, are stories, movies, and comic books, are fact. The universes form an infinite tree, with infinite choices, all leading back to the first, paradoxical choice, whether the universe exists or not. But that's a story for another time. This story takes place in a universe almost exactly like ours, but angled a little towards the comics branch. A universe where Barry Allen locked up a little early, where the Kryptonian ship was slightly off with its calculations, where Hal Jordan never got to meet Abin Sur, and where Themyscira remained undiscovered. A world devoid of superheroes. Some things remain constant, however. This story begins with one man's madness.

"Too bad. You'll just have to suffer. . .just like your friend," Bane whispered, pulling out a knife. I couldn't help but wonder what friend he was talking about, I'd never even met anyone that lived in Gotham, let alone be friends with them. While she doesn't get a break too often, she thought that the trouble in Gotham was just another annoying thing to deal with instead of getting to take her vacation. Get in, solve the issue and get out. Nothing more, she thought. But she was wrong. When the fight she takes is one for her life, for a purpose, will she be able to take that risk? Injustice Gods Among Us x Male Reader
A few hours. It only took a few hours for our greatest ally to become our greatest threat. On a normal day like any other, The Joker once again breaks out of Arkham and reeks havoc on the world, only this time he has a new buddy to play with in Superman. The Clown Prince of Crime, along with the help of Scarecrow, combines fear toxin with Kryptonite to drug the Kryptonian into thinking he's fighting Doomsday when in reality it's really Lois Lane, who at the time was carrying the son of her and Superman and a remote detonation device built into Lois' heart that's rigged to blow Metropolis to the ground not to mention killing 8 million people. In a rageful state, Superman flies over to Arkham Asylum en route to Batman and Joker, and when he gets there he kills The Joker and becomes the biggest criminal the world has ever known. After that Superman makes the One Earth Government or 'Regime' to bring peace, whereas Batman and Robin(Y/n L/n) make the Insurgency as a way to combat Superman and make him see that what he's doing is wrong. Along the way death comes to any who oppose Superman with a few well known names like Oliver Queen(Green Arrow) and Dick Grayson(Nightwing) who gets killed by Damian Wayne. Or something new and uncertain. Damian Wayne, as her original target and childhood bully, is trying to show her that she can surivive outside of The League of Shadows. She can be whoever she wants. FULL STORY PUBLISHED. The city bleeds beneath the flicker of broken streetlights, Whispers echo through concrete veins.. Of monsters built in labs. Of kings crowned in crime, Of a darkness even the night won't claim. And above it all, two shadows move. One-a man forged in grief and fire, wearing armor and silence like scripture. The other-a boy born from rubble and ash, his fists quiet, his rage sharper than steel. The world calls them Batman and Robin. Ghosts in capes.. storms without thunder. A father and son not by blood, but by the war they wage. And as venom stains the alleys, as chaos sharpens its knives, they descend once more into the city that made them. Crime doesn't sleep, The night doesn't vanish and give people hope after the sun touches their skin. The heroes of Gotham give that hope. In darkness..and in light. I do not own the rights to the characters in this story of course but Ash Calder, Adrian Locke, Dante Creed and The Gotham Panther who shows once in the story, are original characters with my own ideas and their own backstories that I've created. This universe is not directly based on any specific Batman universe, It has hints of inspiration from other Batman works but ultimately its ideas I've thought of, even if something is in the story that's already been done, It's hard to do something new with these characters when there's so much out about them already, there's years of comic, live action, animated and fan iterations of the universe so it's genuinely hard to think of new events to put the character or characters through, That's why the absolute Batman universe has been getting so much love because of how different it is and how new it is because nobodies done anything with Batman's character or the universe like the creators of the Absolute Batman universe.Concluida

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ...
