You had been around in the Dark Ages, replacing the old Death, and working alongside the Boogeyman, but you never liked Pitch -his more recent name-. You never killed for fun, but for the dead ones. Pitch saw it as striking down anyone you wanted, which you could, but wouldn't. You never spoke a single word to Pitch, so he grew to believe you were a mute Death.

The only problem is, nobody trusts (Y/N), and nobody takes Jack seriously. As a shadowy past threatens to overtake Cupid, she must confront the darker parts of herself or lose the person she cares most about in the world.
