Cyrus Kent has always known he was different. As Cyrus begins learning more about the origin of his powers, a malevolent presence begins to lurk at the edge of town, forcing the young outcast to act. As the body count rises, something stirs within Cyrus, like something that was in deep sleep has finally awoken. If Cyrus wishes to save the ones he loves, he must unleash his full potential.
But saving the town could come at a greater cost. Will Cyrus master his abilities in time or succumb to the chaos that plagues his soul? The fate of Smallville rests in the hands of the Kent family's enigmatic son.
