After making the gigantic move from America to Australia with her older brother and their guardian, Katelyn Darcy only hopes to be able to finish her senior year with as little trouble as possible. Being able to blend in and stay invisible has become an art, something that she's good at, and she doesn't think that this time will be any different. What she doesn't count on is one person refusing to ignore her attempts to disappear.

Enter Ryan Bradley, the bad boy of the school, and the guy that every girl wants. Every girl, that is, except Katelyn. Intrigued with Kate's immunity to his charms - something that he has had never encountered before - it suddenly becomes his mission to break down the walls of Kate's defences and and get her to admit her undying love for him. Something that he is already feeling for her.

But the deeper he digs, the more resistance he meets. For Kate is hiding a secret that could endanger everyone that she's close to. But Ryan refuses to take no for an answer. He's determined that they can handle whatever it is as long as they're together. But will Kate agree?
