As a young girl Viva was always the one who was left out. She was different and to no surprise, all the other kids didn't like that so she was excluded. As a young girl Viva's parents died in a car crash so she was forced into a foster home. As years went by she had lived in multiple foster homes, they didnt last long. The foster parents always thought she was strange and couldn't handle her. At the age of 17 she finally found a home where maybe she could belong. The one thing about this foster family was that they were ghost hunters. But it didn't seem to be a problem for Viva because the reason she was so different was because she could see paranormal activity that nobody else could. In other words Viva could see dead people.

But as the body count climbs, Raven and Cade realize that they might be the only ones with the knowledge to stop the killer, even if they have to embrace their past to do it.

I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery. There's ghosts around every corner in this house, and if we don't figure out what's wrong here, we might just become the next ones.

The only person that didn't fear her he took her in and made her apart of his family. He was already raising two other children on his own and no one was gonna be left behind. She never had a chance she didn't even know who her real family was but this is the only family she's ever known.
