His Gem

I always worked alone, always. I made sure that jump city was safe, that robin was safe. No one could even come close to beating me... no one except for him. He's the one who took me, stole my future. But who knows maybe I'll grow to live with it.

"Who do you think you are, your just a child who needs saving." He says leaning down and holding my chin.

"I don't need saving, I've been on my own for seven years. What makes you think I need saving ?" I spit out in anger. I yank my head out of his grasp and jump back up to my feet. I aim a kick to his side that he easily blocks... looks like we're at it again.
