If you are known to be the weakest of your kind in a world of magic mixes with futuristic technology, then wished to be stronger but gotten more you bargained for. Well for that someone is named Cassandra Meldyr....

                                                    ******

A young girl who has little known magic abilities has now become the target of evil forces when the most powerful force of magic had went inside her, giving her the title of the new mythrecanian witch. Having the troubles of controlling it, Cassandra Meldyr was enrolled in a prestigious school where enchanters of all kind were trained to practice their ability but there seems to be nothing helping Cassandra in her training, so the school hired the smartest and the only mythrecanian master; Isaac Sharpe...who unfortunately society's most hated master. Doubting on her master's unique way of training techniques, underestimating him Cassandra finds it ridiculous of how Isaac train her but she has no choice for there is a great threat that now is on its way to destroy everything and it's up to her to stop it, making her training hard as hell than the rest. And with giving the fact that all tribes of magic are in the case of a conflict things will definitely get worst other than that a notorious villain had escaped his cell and becomes a war crime maker in a mission to get his hands on that mythrecanian power.

Can Cassandra learns to accept her master's expertise?
Can she be what everyone expect her to be as the greatest enchantress?
Might she even learns Isaac Sharpe's mysterious past for why he was treated that way?

                                              **********

However, as she arrives at the school Cassandra discovers she won't be the only one teaching that fascinating yet challenging subject: Master Potion Aesop Sharp will flank her. Two personalities, and two ways of teaching, so different that they will inevitably end up clashing and provoking... but also getting to know each other deeply, forgetting and overcoming their respective past traumas. The two will learn alchemy is not only a subject to be taught, but also a sensation to be felt and lived. ~ Tropes: age gap - forced proximity - enemies to lovers - slow burn TW: explicit content and language, injuries, death, smoking, alcohol consumption DISCLAIMER: the story is set in 1898 (7 years after the end of Hogwarts Legacy), so the events that occur are fictional and may not correspond to what actually happened in reality. Furthermore, English is not my native language, so I apologize in advance if some sentences and names are not written correctly - feel free to correct me! *now available on all retailers* Amber How do you politely refuse when the only guy to star in any of your dirty fantasies has just offered to put you up for the foreseeable future and your brother's just accepted like you were in fact still thirteen and couldn't make decisions for yourself? You don't. And, you end up with a roommate who wears a very good elegant mask over the rough and tumble, bad boy core I remember far too well. Only, it's ten years later and I'm even nerdier than I used to be. It's ten years later and I couldn't look worse. It's ten years later and I can't keep one guy. It's ten years later and my brother still teases me mercilessly in front of him. It's ten years later and Kit somehow looks even better than the guy I spent my formative years crushing on. Except, there might just be a smouldering heat in Kit's eyes that suggests he's not quite as out of my league as I thought. Just maybe, this geek is about to get a whole lot of chaos. Kit When I find out about my best mate's little sister's situation, the offer is out of my mouth before I can stop it; Hawk's like a brother to me even if Amber's never looked twice at me. I could never tell if she was scared of me or hated me. But the deal is done. She's going to bring her bedraggled self upstairs to my penthouse and live with me for as long as she needs. I see the pain she hides away, I see the lack of confidence despite how smart she is, how good. If there's something I've learned, it's that confidence makes all the difference. So, it becomes my mission to help Amber find her confidence. But I find more than confidence in her and suddenly I'm seeing my best mate's little sister completely differently. Except, there might be something in the way she smiles at me that gives me hope I'm not as far out of her league as I thought. It might just be time that this chaos gets a little geek.
