[READER HAS NO SPECIFIED GENDER, USING THEY/THEM] A rewrite of the other Rui x reader fanfic I wrote in June 2023 because I felt like it could be better in all honesty. UPDATES WILL POSSIBLY COME SLOWLY. Please try to be patient though, it's very much appreciated <3 ^^^^ Literally slowly. I'd be lucky to even post 2 updates a month *maybe.* Update (08/11/24): NEW COVER RAAAHHHHHHHHH ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ -------- After realizing a lot of people didn't read the description on the previous Rui x Reader story, I decided to just put information relating to your character in the first chapter because I figure more people would read it of course (I hope lmao) If you seen the old version of this, you'll probably notice a good bit of plot has changed because it was lowkey really cringe, and the 'conflict' just felt like it was there only for plot. It wasn't ever mentioned again after or even before it, so yeah. Since I want this to be more realistic, there is a high possibility this will be a little more slowburn. Despite the other book having 15 chapters, putting the information together; all of that happens in about ~1 month and a half. Also I felt like Rui was a little OOC too, so you'll notice some changes in his writing possibly. I don't think I have much more to say here so yea.. Y/N Lupin had been friends with the Weasleys since first year, they were inseparable. Ever since her parents and older brother, Carter, died in a tragic fire, just before the summer, at the Lupin mansion, she has been staying with her Uncle Remus. She wasn't close to her parents as her dad was very much the opposite of his brother, Remus. Her mother adored her brother and always expected more from Y/N, they didn't have the mother daughter bond that Y/N craved. She didn't really like her brother either as he wasn't the kindest to her. They were against her friendship with the Weasleys due to them not being the same class as them. They were one of the richest families in the wizarding world due to there high job roles. Seems like everyone is obsessed with Y/N Dixon. It starts off with her friends in the house of Gryffindor, 3rd year. Someone at Hogwarts has been following her every move. Was it her best friend Harry Potter who was slowly falling in love with her, or someone else? Is it romantic.. or terrifying? This story contains a very smart and sarcastic Y/N and a lot of unexpected plot twists. FYI, sue me if you don't laugh because you probably will.. i'm hilarious.
