Cora goes through her entire life thinking everything is perfect. She has a loving, caring father, who seems to do whatever he can to protect his family. She has Cassius, her other half. And surprisingly enough, her parents approve of him, even welcoming him into their family. Cassius and Cora are pretty much inseparable, until until one day he's gone. Initially believing something might've happened to him, Cora eventually gives up on hope of finding the man after seeing him with another woman.

Years later though, events shed light that her Father may be alive, but is Cassius connected to his disappearance? While Cora embarks to find him, she finds out the truth. There's more to this world than there seems. Cassius was never who she thought he was, nor her Father. When faced with the thought of having to kill the one she once loved, more so than herself.
