Krystallah (Kris-Tah-Lah) is thrust into a wicked night of terrors as horrible laughing shades invade his home. In the midst of great personal tragedy and fear for his family, he stumbles upon a magical doorway and a strange girl named Atlantis. Without much thought, they're forced to flee the otherworldly threat and find themselves on the other side of a doorway within the Nexus.

Their adventure begins as they meet friends who share their strange abilities and unravel the mystery of what cosmic forces are drawing them together. Will the laughter that haunts the mist reach them before they can uncover the sins of the past? What else awaits them within the Nexus?

Hi everyone. I hope you'll enjoy this story. I am a full-time soldier, part-time author. My hope is to upload once every two weeks with approximately 4400 words per upload. I wrote up to chapter 7 before choosing to pursue Watt Pad as a medium. My plan is to upload here, receive feedback and improve for a printed release (fingers crossed huh?). Please don't hesitate to leave critiques as this version has only been proof-read and I don't have an editor (besides a wonderful, educated wife who can spot grammar mistakes at 100 yards). Anyway, expect the cover to change and a guaranteed upload every other Saturday for 12 weeks. After that, I'll be caught up to my already written material and I'll be writing by the week.
