Hange, Erwin and you have been best friends since childhood. Someone else was added into the mix later on when he joined the scouts. You grew very fond of him. Before he joined you were known as one of the greatest hero's humanity had and he took that spot and you didn't mind one bit. It took the spotlight and pressure off of you. You grew very close with him until your friendship slowly blossomed into something more until that something was taken away from you.
