When Jinx fails to blow up the Pilltover council, she is brought before them for her crimes, but instead of leaving her in prison to rot; Vi and Caitlyn protest that she be given a chance for redemption, to change. So her sentence means she is forced to seek therapy to face her demons, and in doing so she is brought to Arkham Asylum for 'healing'. The place could use some colour but, it's not all bad; she meets someone just as sane as her, and maybe this is the family that won't abandon her again.

The most wanted criminal in Piltover, the infamous Jinx, is finally captured, much thanks to the sheriff's partner, Vi. Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. To make things even worse, she then learns from Caitlyn that her sister will almost certainly be sentenced to death. But Vi isn't ready to give up on her sister so easily, especially not because of some topside laws. Besides, it's just concrete walls keeping Jinx in, and... she doesn't call Vi Fat Hands for nothing... This book took me WAY longer to write than I thought it would.
