Keith kogane has moved to a new school. He's not too bothered about popularity status, or friends . He spends his lunch breaks alone, either studying or daydreaming just trying to get through high school in one piece, until he stumbles across a chaotic Cuban boy with a very hyper and optimistic attitude who somehow changes the way he sees the world. Soon he finds himself hanging out with people who he can call friends. Real friends. They have their ups, and their downs, overcome fears and make new friends along the way.
Lance McClain is struggling with family distance, he misses his older brother, who he hasn't seen in years, his mother is struggling balancing her family and her job, and his twin sister is having trouble in and out of school. All this trouble, which he tries his best to resolve on his own. But his friends help him, taking some weight off his shoulder, helping him understand he shouldn't have to take everything on alone.
Keith comes to realise friends are there, and have been all along, you just have to live out your daydreams, and never look back, because it's bound to be worth it in the end.
Seize the moments .Cherish those who you care about, who care about you as equally. And most of all, never bottle up.

Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. But they seem to be right, as a moment later Keith throws a freshman on the ground for speaking to him. That is a sign for Lance to never even look at this guy. They are all now halfway through their second year at college and Lance finds he can't stand Allura anymore. She is nasty and self-absorbed. To make matters worse, he finds himself in all the same classes as Keith, except one. Lance wants his friend back as more than just a friend. On the day he dumps Allura, the unexpected happens. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the back story of some characters.
