Drunk into a stooper, Reese spends his nights smoking underneath the moonlight, watching over a lake; wishing for nothing more than to be able to be himself. Unliked by his peers, unloved by himself, it's hard being a teen, life is unfair.

A blue mustang speeds down the road, heading out of town, 'One day,' he promised to himself.

Sex, drugs and the death-dealing pressure to make money night after night - It's a steep, downward spiral which 19-year-old Elijah Everdeen has found himself stuck in ever since his parents died. If it weren't for his two siblings, he would have given up years ago. For a long time, he wanted to, thought about it every day even. Sometimes - in the cruelest, darkest of nights - he still does. But if this black-and-white world has really become Elijah's grim reality, then why is this young, mysterious man capable of adding color and a heartbeat to this dreadfully achromatic still life Eli is trapped in? Who is he? And...who is he REALLY? ~~~~~ DISCLAIMER: The storyline of this book is entirely fictional, it does not intend to mimic or describe real circumstances. Now all grown up he follows that rule to a t, unapologetically himself. Neither of them run in the same circles, but when a bump in the road leaves Sam stranded the two meet and quickly develop an unlikely friendship that seems to have to potential for more, but can either of them overcome their upbringings to embrace it?
