Women don't have a voice, they have duties. The four lands that make up her kingdom isn't any different from their neighbouring countries. But sometimes girls aren't voiceless, sometime a man might raise his daughter to protect herself. Alissia was raised by her father and when he died her grandfather continued her unconventional upbringing. Knowing he wouldn't always be there to protect her, he taught her to hunt and protect herself.
One of these hunts goes wrong and Al meets people who take an interest in the strange young girl.
Women aren't meant to have an opinion, she was never meant to be taught more. She is a commoner, she is female and she is deadly.
Put in a unique position Alissia is taught the ways of an assassin. Now she'll have to navigate the shadows who want her for themselves and the ones who want her dead. She's going to have to fight for her place while the gypsy seers try to find a man who is vital in a prophesy that will define the future of several kingdoms.
