17 year-old Corey Thomas and his 23 year-old sister Corrina, have recently moved back to Summerville City, after she lands a job as an special investigator for Silhouette Investigation Squad, in charge of investigating supernatural abnormalities within the city. Summerville is a giant city (based in California) filled with fun, history, and dark secrets. Summerville City is slowly falling into chaos, with a string of murders, disappearances, and a new affliction spreading across town called Capricious Syndrome, which causes abrupt changes of behavior within the mind. Corey now attends Summerville High School, a school with a wonderful recognition and reputation but dark roots. While at school he has an encounter with evil monsters called Silhouettes, in an unknown parallel universe called the Umbra Warren. While there he awakens his Psyche, and learns that they must cleanse the city of the Umbra Warrens. Now having this knowledge of these events, Corey and Corrina gathers allies together to create the Psyche Masters, taking responsibility for investigating and stopping the evil that has infested the city.
