Sixteen-year-old Prince Orson of the Night has had a crush on his human friend - Hannah Marie - since they were kids. His only problem? He was a vampire while she was a human. The species themselves wasn't what upset him, though; It was the life expectancy of the latter that troubled him. Knowing just how short a human's life was would hurt any creature of the night in his shoes. However, that didn't stop Orson from testing that knowledge.
