Waking up in a world that reads like legends, Nova finds herself having to adapt to the unfamiliar realm of Aldynria, where humans bear the burden of scorn for their absence of magical prowess. In this land of unfamiliar creatures, they are labeled 'the other,' and amnesia shrouds their past lives, a shared enigma that none seem as troubled by as Nova does. Amidst this curious assembly of Werewolves, Brownies, Faeries, Vampires, and even more obscure, elusive beings lurking in the shadows of the frosted forest, Nova's aspirations are as simple as they are seemingly impossible. First, she must carve her place in a world deeply distrustful of humans. Second, to one day uncover her origins and find a way back home. Yet, destiny has other plans when Nova becomes a servant in the residence of the High-Fae Lord, the ruler of Aldynria. The new priority: evade him at all costs, for he seems as dangerous as he hates humans. Yet, the simplest task becomes her greatest challenge when faced with someone who's as irresistible as he is unattainable.
