LEWIS (My Billionaire CEO)
26 parts Complete In the middle of a heated, desperate moment, to be hers forever...
I flinched as he smashed the glass with his bare hands, my harsh accusations still hanging in the air between us.
The shattering sound echoed through the room, a cruel symphony of heartbreak. Blood dripped from his knuckles, pooling onto the floor, and his eyes, glistening with unshed tears, locked onto mine.
"I love you, Victoria!" he shouted, his voice laced with desperation.
"God damn it! Why are you the only one who can't see it?" His words trembled with a mixture of anger and sadness, each syllable a plea.
"Would any man go to such lengths for a woman he merely pities? Do you really think I'd bring you here, to this place, if I wasn't hopelessly in love with you?"
His voice cracked, and I could see the vulnerability beneath his fury.
"I love you. I need you. I can't keep pretending like I don't care anymore," he said, tears streaming down his face.
"I hate how you smile at Kaden, how you blush around other guys. It kills me every time.
"He took a step closer, his gaze never leaving mine, and reached out with his uninjured hand to gently cup my face.
His touch was tender, contrasting with the storm of emotions raging inside him.
"Just say you'll be mine, Vic," he whispered, his voice softer now, almost pleading. "I know you love me too."
He was right. I did love him.
Ever since that day I helped him with his tie, I had begun to care for him in ways I didn't want to admit.
I had tried to deny it, tried to convince myself that I could never fall for the obnoxious jerk I once knew.
But here I was, standing in front of him, my defenses crumbling, my heart laid bare.
"I... I love you, Lewis," I confessed, my voice breaking as tears streamed down my cheeks. "I love you so much."
And in that moment, surrounded by the shards of glass and the weight of unspoken feelings, I knew there was no turning back.
