In a world where the only choices for a girl like Thea are control or be controlled, she has chosen the former. Born an orphan into the slums and forced to conceal her magic to stay safe, she has risen through the ranks of the Rubies, a lethal gang rivalled only by the Jades. When, after a string of abductions, the leader of the Jades turns up on Thea's doorstep with tales of terrifying schemes of destruction, Thea's only choice may be to ally with her greatest enemies if she wants to save herself and her city. Set against the thrilling backdrop of the smoky, immoral Jocell, where deception and betrayal are rife, with a cast of disreputable characters who are never quite what they seem, Thea must navigate her way in this world of lords and thieves, balls and heists, charming heirs and ruthless rogues before it's too late...
Heavily inspired by Cowboy Like Me by Taylor Swift (with plenty of other swiftie references!), Forever is the Sweetest Con is influenced by some of my favourite books - Six of Crows, The Infernal Devices, These Violent Delights and many more!

Ryu Seo-woo is an award-winning best vocalist who tragically died in a plane crash and transmigrated to a BL novel, "Serenade Me, My Angel" which he read out of boredom. He transmigrated into the body of the sub-villain, who shares his name but is a C-list singer with a ruined voice due to throat damage. Living in a decrepit house with his five-year-old triplet sons (Seo-jun, Seo-min, and Seo-jin) who despise him for years of neglect and abuse, Seo-woo is determined to rewrite their lives. The novel's main couple: the stoic CEO Moon Woo-seok and his innocent, angelic singer Jin Yu-jin are destined for a happy ending. In the original story, Seo-woo's character dies in a fire, leaving his genius triplets to be adopted by the main couple. However, the transmigrated Seo-woo has no intention of dying or letting the original plot play out. Can he win over his sons and forge a new path?
