Possessed by love

Caroline and I walked into the house cautiously. Where are they? We entered the hallway, blood speckles on the ground, pieces of glass everywhere, and most importantly holes in the walls.

Caroline stayed clung to my shoulder as we walked closer and closer to the living room's door, which was ajar. I stopped half way and just stayed put, I was afraid of what might have happened to them. Even though I had no idea if they were even there, I was still afraid.

"Should we go in?"

I looked over to see Caroline staring at me, I knew she wanted to know if Jessie was alright. But, I wanted to know if both of them were alright. After we found out their darkest secret, we began to wonder if we should trust them. They are different in a way that we didn't expect, in a way that changed our lives forever. But, they protected us.

"Yes. We have to go in, we have to make sure they are alright." I finally say pulling her with me.

Once we entered the room, I thought our lives were over when I saw them lying there on the floor..
