Amaya is a girl blessed by the gods, or at least considered to be. She's a living myth. But is being favored by the gods truly a blessing or a curse? What if it's all a lie? 

She was supposed to become the queen of the Amorite Kingdom, but one day, a month before her dreams were supposed to become a reality, she was kidnapped by Prince Ciaran of Deira, an enemy kingdom they are at war with. Suddenly, her fairytale falls apart. The wheels of fate are set in motion and things begin to happen that even Amaya herself can not predict. Which she didn't even expect could happen. The world knows only her perfect illusion created from smoke and mirrors. Her darkest secrets come to the surface. And maybe her captor will turn out to be nicer than she expected. Maybe she's starting to keep feelings for the spurned prince.
However, it is not easy because he also has his secrets. Just as dark as hers. Both have secrets that can destroy them. And something even more dangerous lurks in the shadows.
