And a Vice-Admiral at that. Her devil fruit powers give her the advantage on land which is why she usually patrols areas where many islands are close together.
Dawn didn't necessarily like being a Marine, but once she got her powers the Navy quickly scooped her up. Deep down she was just waiting for a reason to quit, and to truly be free. Perhaps a certain flame-wielding pirate can help her achieve just that. If they can get along for five minutes that is...

This will be a journey a self-discovery for Ki while following closely with the original events of the show as well as some original content fabricated by myself.
