Dylan wright is just your basic human in a world of powerful beings; everyone has a power or some sort of way to keep them from dying. Dylan is the youngest of his two siblings his older brother Jax Wright has two powers the ability to read others minds and he can control them, Dylan's sister Haylie has only one and she hates to use it but only if it benefits her she'll us it, it's one that only their family has it was passed down from all the women in the family.
