When Rat's battle with the hero takes an unexpected turn, he lands at the mercy of the man he tried to kill. He discovers Link is not as callous as he believed. There's a man behind the hero, with his own struggles and dreams, who might be worthy of Rat's respect, maybe even his trust.
But the Yiga don't forget, and they don't forgive. As Rat's loyalties shift, he finds himself on the run for his life. To earn his freedom and save his newfound family, he'll have to face his past and return to the Depths, and become his own kind of hero.

The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it!
