Joel is in his late 40's, he was there when the apocalypse started and has suffered ever since, until he meets Ellie and his entire perspective on life changes. He finds that over time he begins to have feelings for Ellie, he wants to protect her and shelter her from this horrible life. Can Ellie and Joel save the world?
