"Fly away with us!" The wedding invitation that started it all. Unfortunately for Stella, it was her best friend's wedding. Being perpetually single and lonely, a wedding was the last place Stella wanted to spend the week leading up to Christmas. The Winter Haven Lodge, surrounded by a snowy wonderland, sets the stage for the perfect Christmas wedding. Amidst the enchanting scenery and Christmas magic, Stella must navigate the tides of love and friendship while grappling with Nicholas' unwelcome presence, a constant reminder of past grudges. As they collide, old rivalries resurface and Stella must come face to face with the truth. He strides in as the best man, with his signature devilish grin, good looks, and charm. He's hard to ignore. While Sarah revels in her happiness at getting married, Stella braces herself for a week where her emotions are as unpredictable as the weather, especially with Nicholas' aggravating presence lingering around every corner.

Haven Collins is an average teenager in an average home, with average wealth, and an average smile. She's never stood out in her life and she liked it that way. She's hardly called on in class and doesn't have a large group of friends. Then senior year happens. Over the summer her parents were killed in a car accident. She's left with her 8-year-old brother and now lives at her Aunt's house. Now she has to learn to cope and raise her brother. Things change drastically. She's an outcast. She barely speaks, can't seem to match her clothes, and is hanging on by a thread. Then Apollo Laurant shows up. Apollo has a problem. He can't seem to control himself. He gets kicked out of school for fighting or not even attending. He's been to many military schools and private schools, but nothing seems to tame this bad boy. Eventually, his parents give up and enroll him in a public school. Redwood High School, home of the Robins. Everything changes when he meets a dulled-eyed Haven on his first day. Will he change his ways? Can Haven move on? Or will they ruin each other?
