Rory had a rocky life before the outbreak and especially during it. Her mother died during childbirth that left her with no mother figures in her life. She had an abusive dad, who would constantly beat on her and her older brother for no reason.

Despite people wronging her she tries to keep a positive mind. She might not have liked her dad that much but that doesn't mean she wanted him to die. She finds herself listening to her heart more than she should.

she struggles to show her feelings either she feels too much or nothing at all. She wishes she could be normal but what even is "normal" in an apocalyptic world?
