Mecharia, a highly advanced kingdom of robots named the Irregulars, has been contaminated by darkness, leaking through their fabled artifact and only source of water - The Last Fountain.
Their tyrant, King Ars, attemting to revive his sister who has been lost in an incident, sent forth brainwashed soldiers and generals in pursuit of the Five Miracle Gems, crystals that are required to activate the Fountain's wish-making powers.
A young bot awoke in the midst of chaos, their memory precepts damaged as they couldn't remember their origins. A fateful encounter with the witch Nyaia had them chosen to be a hero of the prophecy, with a name bestowed to them through a mysterious voice.
