Leanna is a human girl who loves skating. She's put her heart and soul into it. She could never imagine doing anything else. But, when she breaks her ankle, she's told she may never skate again. She's devastated. Her parents, who do love her and only want the best for their daughter, tell her she can find a new dream. That it isn't the end of the world. But to Leanna, it was. Her skates and outfits were all packed away. Leanna became a whole different person. She got a job as a waitress at a nearby café and avoided figure skating all together. Her parents could see the person that used to be their beloved daughter. They wished they could help her, but didn't know how. Only one person could help her. A were-wolf named Weston.
 Beta Weston Peterson is a serious young man of the age of 25. He was rejected when he was seventeen by his mate, Kelly Hart. He was hurt, angry, and devastated. He turned all his attention on being the Beta of the White Stone Pack. He became a great Beta and was a great example to the carefree Gamma, Grady. Weston was admired and respected by the pack and his friends, but he couldn't deny something was missing. The love of a mate.
