To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection by MidnightBeast1098

I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. When I was young, I was always told that everyone loved a tragic Greek love story. Orpheus and Eurydice. Apollo and Hyacinth. Hero and Leander. Achilles and Patroclus. I had asked my mother why so many of those stories didn't have happy endings. She just gave me a grim smile and told me how the world of the gods was tricky. There was a lot about it that I didn't understand yet. That was 13 years ago. I think I understand it now.

Ideas and Rejects by Fire-Redhead

This is pretty much what it sounds like. Sometimes I have small snippets of stories that never become full blown but are still pretty fun to write (and read). I also have a few chapters from my stories that got rejected or went in a different direction. Most of these are in the fantasy or science-fiction genre and I would predict most of them are based in GT interactions (since those are my obsession). In short, this is just a "hutch" to keep my plot bunnies in. Feel free to pet them :D

January 20th Update: New stories and art created, links added to chapter 2 I've decided to try and spread my 3 star ideas to a wider audience in the hopes that they can inspire people. The people that I've sent these to have said that they are "good". I would like to make full fledged stories out of these ideas, but I can't because I am not a writer. But who knows? Maybe I can try and inspire some people to make something beautiful out of this stuff! I want to see more 3 star wholesomeness!
