Etrythia, a vast continent, serves as the dwelling for various mythical creatures, among them, dragons. Each dragon possesses mastery over a specific element, but venturing into unfavorable unions is not unheard of - except when it involves different elemental matches, a transgression punishable by death.

In a bold defiance of this law, two dragons risked the consequences, unwilling to forsake their love. Their offspring, believed to be the prophesied ones, stand poised to not only disrupt the world but reshape it entirely.

As the two fledgling dragons narrowly escape the clutches of death, the looming question arises: will they be the catalysts for chaos as foreseen, or will their presence result in a positive transformation for the entirety of Etrythia?

Drekablóð Rising:Fire(Book 1) de Phoenix-Dragoness
34 Partes Concluida
The war that started it all. Five hundred years ago a war erupted in Elementa when humans started hunting a revered race called the Drekablóð; half humanoid, half dragon. The humans saw them as abominations for their differences; fear of a race more powerful than another makes others do rash and deadly things. After the humans slaughtered a whole settlement of Drekablóð, the magical creatures of Elementa rose up in defense of the Drekablóð. The humans likewise called on their dwarf and elf allies. Thus Bellum ex Quod Draco ipsos Troiugenas began. For ten long, bloody years the races fought hard for the future of the Drekablóð. One wanting to exterminate them like pest. The other wanting them to survive and flourish. In the end, the humans won, but their victory cost them and the rest of Elementa dearly. The alicorns and dwarves disappeared. The wyverns and elves were practically extinct. Dragons were a rare sight. Only the humans survived to tell the tale of how they wiped out the evil monsters that tried to take their lands. Elementa, originally a lush and beautiful land, was now split into four different climates, equally harsh in their own way. But the humans prevailed in cultivating Elementa and chasing away any remaining magical creatures into her far corners. With the resistance of magical creatures no longer in their way, the humans continued their 'sport' of hunting the Drekablóð into extinction. Half a millennium later, the seeress Carmentha foresaw the return of the Drekablóð, and restoring Elementa to her prime and defeating the wicked and harsh rulership of Elementa. These four children have been destined to save Elementa before they were ever born. Can they overcome their difficulties and save Elementa? Or will they fail and allow Elementa to fall into darkness forever? There will be some minimum swearing and minimum acts of violence. I would rate this book for 14 and up.

[Wattys2018 Shortlist] [Bootcamp Mentorship Mentee 2020] [Insidious Awards - 1st place/Action/Adventure] "Squinty, I... Help me! Please! You have to help me!" Squinty huffed at him as the horse might snort at an annoying fly it couldn't get rid of. "A...a... an apple," he stammered. "I just... stole an apple!" ---- When water is controlled by those in power, even a mere apple can be a catalyst. For Squinty, it was the start of everything. Finding Grizzly. Losing Roko. Becoming a Vigil. Discovering she had the power to become invisible. For Nalina, the threat of a new Water War was even closer to home; her beloved brother was the one initiating it. To Drian, water formed the core of his belief system, defined who was - and was not - worthy, and justified the treatment of the underground-dwelling Wellers. An orphan girl, determined to do what was right. A princess, petitioning for peace. An abbot, torn between his religion, and his experience. Each with an Etching, a unique power that surely makes them special; a tie to something more, something extra, something beyond the Squareworld. Book one of Nature's Series The world is on the verge of extinction. Technologies are falling short in front of the destruction caused by constant disasters. Now the only hope left is for nature to intervene. What happens when Nature makes its comeback, but in a twisted way? The long lost and forgotten elements are back. However, with a major change. Instead of Fire, Water, Air and Earth kingdoms with innumerable elements, there are only four individuals, that too with their own limitations. ★★★★★ What is the meaning behind this twisted comeback? Has nature actually made its comeback to save the world? Or Is this comeback just made to mock the humans, who are the vital reason behind this ruined world? ~~~•~~~ This story is only published on Wattpad app. If you are reading this from any other site then please beware of the possible malware risk.
