Brooke was not an average teenager. Wow what an original description. Yeah she's not normal for the 1980's but for 2015 she was very much "the norm". Brooke has clinical depression, simple as that. Except it's not that simple when her parents send her to Barillac, a psychological hospital for troubled teens, where she meets a girl off the streets, a girl from a house of fourteen, a girl just trying to be herself, and possibly the love of her life. Definitely not the average love story.
