In a world where humans and vampires coexist, Angel-Lynn is fighting to survive. 

The vampires have taken control of the human government. Humans are like cattle and marked by their masters if they are captured. You're only lucky if you're Blood Bonded to one of them. 

The Blood Bond is very sacred to the Vampires, a gift given from their Goddess of Night, and if a human were to be bonded with a Vampire they would have to be Turned in order to survive, lest the Vampire dies when the human parishes.

Angel-Lynn St. (Saint) is newly 18, and she's living in a world of blood and ruin.

Strong-willed and brave, Angel must find the Vampire Kings as they are the only ones with vampire blood strong enough to cure her grandmother of the Moth Plague that has attacked her small village in the Evergreen Mountains. 

Azric and Darem O'Mara, twins and Kings of the Vampires,  have searched long and hard for their Blood Bonded and have given up many centuries ago. But when their hearts have become cold as stone, eyes as red as blood, in comes crashing Angel (quite literally), giving the Kings hope for their kingdom. 

Azric and Darem are taken by surprise; Their Blood Bonded was a human, but she didn't smell like one.
