Sample awakened to an empty house. The backdoor was flagged open and there was no one in sight. The strange visitor had left. The nightmare was over or so he thought... A price had been paid. A totem had been given.
Then, the whispers came on the wind like an omen.
Like the coming of a new season, things shift but are never fully gone.

To combat these monsters of the night the world made a new branch called the "Cryptid Hunter Agency", or, C.H.A. originally founded by the first legendary monster hunter. Dayvawn Jonathan Mclark is your average Nobody college student. but one night, his life was turned around due to demonic intruders. He was attacked by two Black-Eyed Children. Due to the monster's DNA accidentally connecting to Dayvawn's bloodstream, He is now suddenly half-Cryptid. Kidnapped by the government, He was given two options: fight for them against other unknown monsters or die. The decision was easy, Dayvawn's new goal is to slay the creatures that dare harm humans. Just a dream (I can feel you staring at me)
He still remembers it. The sound of bones breaking. The ringing. The voices. Their voices. His voice. But it shouldn't be possible. He sat in his bed, the darkness of the night making it hard to see at first. Sweat on his face- no whole body made it seem like just a bad dream. It was just that, wasn't it? Just a bad dream. But why was he feeling like he was being watched? Someones, or somethings eyes on his neck. Just waiting for a moment of weakness. Waiting for Finney to let his guard down, just to snap it. Something that only worsens it though, is that the other boys, which he had dreamed about, seem weird, strangely different than before. Or, Finney wakes up in the past with memories of the basement, but is telling himself it was nothing but a bad dream. But, of course, it is not. Because what kind of person am I to just let him and the other grave-boys just forget? Fair warning for this fic, English isn't my first language, so mistakes can/will happen.
