"Why?" I said quietly as she started to walk away. She turned to look at me as the word left my mouth. She held her glare making me shiver.
"Why are we even trying?" I asked, my voice breaking with each word.

Hannah was happy as a kid but then her stepfather came along and everything changed. She watched her father died and then she watched her mother's happiness died too. Her life fell apart when this man came along. He was abusive. She was only 18 and needed saved. But who would?

Vanessa loved her life, she was happily married and had a successful career as a English and history teacher. She thought nothing would stop her from her happily ever after but she was wrong.
