Haruhi "Haru" Yukihara was an average kid in life, kept good grades and enjoyed the same struggles as any 15 year old boy would have: girls.

Haru was not helped but the case he tended to geek out over video games, particularly the fantasy genre, even some of his geekier friends were weirded out sometimes.

Until one day Haru made a friend who geeked out about it just as much as he does, and with her allowance sets them both up for trying out the Beta for a new Full-Dive Virtual Reality MMO experience.

That was the day Haru was first enthralled with Sword Art Online.

But when launch comes............................Haru will have to become even better at the game in hopes to escape with his and everyone else's lives on the line.
