Through the use of bribery, extortion, torture, fire, threats and violence, the Targaryens retain their claim on the Iron Throne and the Seven Kingdoms. But each one of them is a pawn of the chess board used to make powerful moves to secure a future. Alysanne Targaryen, known as Alyssa to her family, was married off and forgotten. Forced to produce a child every year, has to battle for the favour of first her mother, then her father, then her husband, her half-brother, her sister, her step mother, her nephew, and her own children.
