Test Tube was bored. So incredibly bored. She had done every experiment in the book. At least, every humane experiment. She looked down at the open book. An idea that couldn't be tested as there was no way to test it without potentially facing jail time for torture. But so many other famous scientists who made huge discoveries also did inhumane things for the sake of science. If it meant recognition for your brilliance and neediness outside of the show, Test Tube wouldn't mind stepping over a couple boundaries. But which lines would she be willing to cross? Or, a better question in hindsight, how much would change? WARNING! It was just a normal day at Hotel OJ for Lightbulb. That was, until Test Tube kidnapped Paintbrush for inhumane expiriments, and an unknown assailant has shot and killed Marshmallow. Now, OJ and Paper are trying to capture the culprit, while Lightbulb realizes she's gonna go out by one side or another. This fic is split into multiple acts: Act 1: Hiding in Plain Sight (Chapters 1-11) "Lightbulb feels cornered after Test Tube kidnaps Paintbrush and multiple other contestants, and someone starts murdering her teammates. All the while, OJ and Paper try to figure out what's going on." Act 2: Whiplash (Chapters 12-) "Test Tube, now stuck underground, grows closer with Fan. Meanwhile, Lightbulb attempts to live with the consequences of not acting on her suspicions earlier." But it wasn't a bad thing, the blood spread across the canvas smoothly, and it was an amazing consistency. Perfect for painting. So they kept using it. Even if the smell and feeling of it was repulsive. But they couldn't continue to use their own blood, they would die if they kept using it.
