The Capture of Persephone

“N-n-no Mr. Opidex, of course I don’t want to die; well at least not yet I don’t. I just want to save the love of my life. She was abducted by Hades.” I replied trying not to shake.

“D-d-did you just say what I think you said?” Mr. Opidex practically growled.

“Yes? Hades abducted Persephone, the love of my life, why? Did he do something to you?” I answered, my hope and confidence, of saving Persephone, slowly rising.

“Do you see this? Take a guess at how old I am?” He snarled, as he pulled down his hood to reveal a misshapen face. His eyes were not aligned, his mouth was lopsided, and his nose, oh my, it was barely visible through his plump cheeks. He had wrinkles everywhere, I tried my best not to vomit or look disgusted but I failed, miserably.
