His eyes were so warm, yet his glare was cold, he had wings of white but the feathers were painted black. He told me he was my guardian angel, sent from the archangel Uriel. He was to protect me from myself for I was the one who covered myself in cuts, scars, and bruises. My guardian stalked my bedroom as he watched me. Breathless, he advanced to me, grabbed my arm, pulled me up from my bed and began walking to my window. "Where are you taking me?" I heard my own voice in my head, my mouth would not open, it was stapled shut. The angel looked back, eyes black as soil instead of the icy blue I had seen merely moments before. I questioned him no more. The sense of safety flushed over my body. I couldn't control myself anymore. I knew the sense of safety was false. He wasn't an angel. His hands began to spark against my skin as we neared the end of the driveway, white lights flashed from the bedroom to the outside, the window left open behind us. His touch sent lightning through my veins, electrocuting my blood to a boil, the world began to grow dark, yet strangely hot, but the trees were rocking from the cold wind I had felt earlier. I was burning from the inside out. I felt flames start to grow from my toes to my neck, completely engulfing my existence. Screams pierced my eardrums, my eyes darted around to see if anyone would wake up and save me in the dead of night. Not one flicker of a light. The screams came from within me, my brain telling me to fight back, but I can't. How can I fight if my entire body was turned to stone? The last thing my eyes rested upon was my angel guiding me to the deepest and darkest pits of hell, with a smile on his cold, beautiful face.

Fallen

I knew there was always something special about me. I knew I was different from all the other girls. I could feel things before they actually happened, hear things nobody else could. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven. A fallen angel, damned, yet given a second chance to make things right, to be rescued before taking the wrong turn in my life that shamed me from my existence in heaven. Only problem, someone wants me to stay damned, to never become the angel I was meant to be. They'll stop at nothing to kill me, plus I have no clue what exactly I'm fighting against and on top of it all I am nothing without my locket. My locket is my true source of power, it's what kept me alive that terrible night.
