Ava and Russel are childhood friends and so are their parents. Their marriage will be arranged according to their parents' will since it is their family's legacy. But Ava's memory is only short-term, upon going to Japan, she happens to meet Russell there. They had a good time in each other's company. Moreover, Ava's stay there was such a blissful memory, but she needed to go back to New York to work. A few years later, she unexpectedly saw Russell's presence.
