"How can do I become a Mage?"

"Look kid, there are two ways to become a mage. Be born as one. Or take the Mana pill, survive and not become a vegetable and then see if you become a Mage." He said as he asked, "Why, do you want to be one?"

"Yes. Will I die if I eat a pill?". Magnus asked while reconsidering whether he should eat the pill.

"Definitely... Heh you actually were able to steal one, tell me where'd you get it?", He asked as he tilts his head clearly looking amused.

Magnus felt his heart drop to the pits of his stomach.

This story is about the journey of Magnus in the bigger world of mages.
