Agent 3 has a ghost haunting them. It's Agent 4, the newest member of the Squidbeak Splatoon and also their girlfriend.
But does Agent 4 even care? Agent 3 isn't sure, so they take up Cap'n Cuttlefish's offer to explore Octo Valley; Hopefully that clears their head a bit.
Sure hope they aren't attacked by anyone!

Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3. 3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it.
