Happenstance

One afternoon, Amanda goes to a cafe for a job interview. But on her way, the streets twisted and the suburb's concrete streets stretched into empty bricked roads, until finally, reality distorted. In a blink, she found herself in another world; a world of eternal night illuminated by two oddly colored moons. The bustling city life she had been accustomed to had been usurped by an eerie silence. Every corner and path she took only led to more ruined houses littered with bone and decay. There was no cell service. She was afraid. Somewhere around a corner, there was something watching her.
