M/n was once an orphan raised in the house of Hearth and was once friends with Arlecchino before she became the head of the orphanage. Though he separated himself from the orphanage and the Fatui as best as he could didn't mean he wasn't a criminal in some matter, you see, M/n was a magnificent conman who could swindle many out of their socks without trying very hard but this also landed him with before a certain chief of justice and within the Fortress of Meropide. This causes M/n to have a very strange relationship with it's warden; Wriothesley. M/n more often than not found himself bothering the warden with petty escape scares, corny jokes, and sexual innuendos to pass his time in prison.

Though it's all fun and games for him, Wriothesley was at his wits end dealing with the repeat offender. Always punching the criminal on the head when he went too far or just for shits and giggles on his end.

However, one day Wriothesley was overly aggravated, his family was now forcing him into an arranged marriage and he was desperate to find a way out! Then he had an idea that would benefit himself but M/n even more!
